Pumpkin Pie

We weren’t brought up eating pumpkin in sweet things – it was always more a savory vegetable in roasts and soup but I am super glad I have some beautiful Canadian friends who introduced our family to this! 

My kids dislike pumpkin with a passion and won’t eat it at all but this is a hit in our house as a treat 😊

Its spicey (think chai spices) and comforting especially when its raining and cool outside with a nice cup of tea!  The original recipe had sweetened condensed milk and white sugar but we changed those out for coconut milk and raw coconut sugar to swap out the refined sugar.
